Why would you relate this to football? Two totally different situations. Lsu will get pretty much anyone they go after to be the next coach.

If you are going to replace Coach Maineri, you need someone who can swipe the big recruits that are going to other SEC schools.

It means that outside of a handful of coaches, lsu can pull anyone here. We have the tradition, pay more, it’s easy to recruit, fan support, facilities etc etc

I agree, we don't need a big name hire. I think we need someone like the Tn. Coach. Hungry, relentless recruiter and can energize the team.
