Kevin Faulk needs to go.

Someone else brought this up and I second their opinion that for whatever reason Kevin Faulk is not the answer at running back coach. I grew up watching Dalton Hillard and Kevin Faulk. Faulk will always be one of my top 3 backs at LSU so this is not an attack on Faulk. I just don't think that he should remain as running back coach once Ogre is replaced.

We can’t fire him. He has a contract. Apparently we are screwed bc when people have contracts, there’s no way out. Per a knowledgeable poster on this board

Completely agree- I do not remember a time in my life where we have had such little talent at tailback.
It is inexcusable, especially in Louisiana- UL had (2) drafted running backs last year too. lol

Actually, you can fire him, he is owed 100% remaining of the contract, iirc, which appears to be March 2022. Who said you couldn't fire someone? Everyone in the football program can be fired, that doesn't mean there isn't a bill owed.
You guys are 110% melt right now, maybe step away for a few days.

Kevin Faulk is the least of the problems.
Kiner and goodwin are both hand picked by him and are both really good, especially goodwin.
Emery just doesn't give a fook and never has.
Tdp can only get whats blocked for him.
Tdp will protect the ball and perform in pass protection.

But it’s a good point.
We all love KF as one of the best to ever play for LSU. But it also seems like that was his only qualification to be added to the staff, not any resume of coaching RBs.

I can think of 5 position groups that are more of a problem than running back.
