Well he most certainly did say it was luck, I watched the video when the question was asked about 3pt% and he said he didn't get into all of that because lick had a lot to do with it.

Our defense most definitely is related to teams shooting the 3 that well against us. It's the reason some of them take that many 3s against us as well. Though I will say that Kentucky got hotter than you will see even good 3-point shooting teams get in the 2nd half. If they just shoot 40% from 3 instead of 50%, LSU wins the game. But again, LSU plays a big part in teams deciding to chance it and take the 3s in the first place.

I know ESPN supposedly hates Lsu but according to the boxscore while lsu did outrebound Kentucky, they did not shoot 50%. In fact they shot 39%,I don't know what you were watching.

I think he said it previously this year. Either way, we're having a combo of bad defense on the perimeter and bad luck with teams catching fire from there.

LSU cant even make lay ups. Going to hard to win against any decent team. PLus if you have way more offensive rebounds than the other team it just means you miss more shots.

Yes it was after auburn. And he said (loosely) that the off balance 3s coming around picks at the end of the game were 20% type shots... they got lucky. He didn’t say every 3 point attempt was lucky.

I'm going by what he said at a press conference the other day, I have no idea what he said in the post game, I didn't hear it .Maybe he has changed his stance on whether or not it is luck

Almost true, but for sure the last 5 games. UK shooting 50% from 3 is pretty astounding. But again, LSU's D inspires teams to shoot 3s and keep shooting them.
