I enjoy SEC football in general. There’s a pretty good story brewing at Kentucky. They are somehow ranked 9th overall in the country and, not coincidentally, have a qb some project as the number one overall pick in next years draft.

Will Levis was the 652 ranked player coming out of high school,. Now the dude looks like Taysom Hill on steroids. Supposedly he likes mayonnaise in his coffee and eats his bananas unpeeled.

Kentucky is usually a gimme game for an SEC West school, not so much this year. I looked to see what West teams they drew and it turns out they play both Mississippi schools.

What bizzaro world are we living in where Ole Miss and Kentucky are higher ranked than LSU. I am a big believer in recruiting rankings insofar as, in general, the schools with top five or top ten classes usually end up with the best record - see Alabama, Ohio State and Georgia. Exceptions to that rule are often teams with a stud qb that the top teams miss on.

I think I’ll give the Kentucky Ole Miss a watch. The recruiting sites do a good job overall, but if Levis ends up being a top ten NFL pick after the sites had him so low rated, he could be one of the bigger misses ever. I just watched him do an interview. He’s a big kid. Must be the banana peels.

Truly ungovernable.

His size is comparable to Joe Burrow. He's actually not that much younger than Joe Burrow. Similar paths from redshirt to backup to transfer to a year of figuring it out at a new school.

He's not Joe Burrow. Nobody will ever be Joe Burrow.

I doubt he will be better than Burrow, that’s a high bar. I haven’t watched him enough to have an opinion anyway, I was just surprised to read he was projected so high in the draft.

And while his height and weight might be similar to Burrow, Levis has a much more body builder look. He looks more like Taysom Hill to me than Burrow.

I don't disagree. He's more of a weight room guy. Joe was more of a practice field guy. He's really not that much heavier than Joe, though...just carries it differently, by design.

Yeah I’ve watched him a decent bit and what I’ve noticed is he really has no touch on the ball, he throws a rocket whether it’s a dump off to the back or a go route. Really good quarterbacks have the ability to put the right touch on the ball depending on what’s needed in my opinion

Me too. They were/ are a good team. Fortunately for them, UK got to play against a whole lot of LSU back-ups if I remember correctly.

That's every bit as disgusting as it is weird.

Mayonnaise in coffee is well-nigh impossible to achieve in a palatable form, as it would tend to flocculate into unsightly clumps at the top of the cup. Nasty ^ nasty.

Ole Miss and UCLA were just as bad. And the common denominator in all 3 games: Max Johnson sucked.

To be fair, he still has a ways to go as a QB. He can thank josh Allen for his draft status.

And plenty of QBs are missed by recruiting sites. Takes some of these guys years to develop physically or mentally. Josh Allen wasn’t even ranked as a HS recruit, and was then the #199 ranked juco recruit. Herbert was #659. Levis is no where near that kind of talent.

We just gonna gloss over that?

Yea what's up with schools trying to troll us? It falls flat because there's nothing there to it, unless it were UForfeit I guess. But random schools like FSU and Kentucky? I guess it's the equivalent of them beating bama? I'll take the compliment.
