That blunder is a direct shot at LSU's AD. Alleva. While criticism of coach O is certainly appropriate, some fans appear to take their attacks a bit too far, making it very personal. Let's discuss this civilly.

As angry as many feel towards LSU's head football coach and the lowly prospects of LSU's football program, me included, it's not out of the realm of possibilities that this game against Fla could be the turning point for LSU's football team, where things begin to click and LSU starts on a winning run. Players are getting healthy and getting to learn the system so it's certainly feasible.

Fla could be the start of LSU's winning streak or the start of LSU's coaching search, things are that fluid.

I don't blame coach O. He's living his dream. I blame that f*cking idiot Alleva who made the mistake of hiring a DLine coach without any successful head coaching experience and completely mucking up the firing AND hiring process.

O has never been a coordinator. He can’t coach the other coaches.

Not bashing you here but the problems are deeper than that.

What constitutes a personal attack? I haven't seen anything egregious so far. Why censor?

I like your optimism and I want to believe, but I just don't see it. After losing to Troy I am dead inside

Well... I can actually provide stats proving he is objectively a loser. But I get what you're driving at.

Is it OK to refer to Alleva all of those things?

Sure there is a more tactful way at pointing out his deficiencies and question his competency for the job. However, in the realm of sports, and particularly on a board self-entitled "rant", I just don't see anything egregious here. Would I do it in that way? No, because I think it's petty and juvenile, but that should be nothing to censor on a board such as this one. If there is another reason for doing so, such as a relationship you may have with LSU, then I understand from a business perspective. You have not disclosed such a relationship, however. At any rate, this is your business and we play by your rules. I just respectfully disagree.
