it's bullshite basically. he's essentially saying that you can't walk around with beer, even if it's in a cup, wearing lsu stuff or you'll get busted. that simply isn't true. if it's in a cup and you're not acting like a jackass, you'll be fine

Yep. Never been but what people have said in here is that you should plan to not sit much during the game because you won't be able too.

Yeah they're small, especially in the upper decks. If you plan to sit, you probably won't be able to stand. If you stand at the beginning, plan on having difficulty sitting later on!

To Cracker:

I am also interested in the parking lot you were talking about. I am going to be in a luxury tour bus with a bunch of people and am needing a spot to park and tailgate next to it. If that is an option that would be awesome. We are planning on getting there about 3 hours before kickoff and leaving that night.

Anyone else that might know of a spot for a tour bus to come in 3 hours in advance of the game, i am open to suggestions. TIA

Me and 4 other guys are going to the game and don't know anyone. We can't do bars because we're not all 21. Where is a good place to drink some beers and tailgate with people? We're going to bring beer but we plan on just walking around and finding people to tailgate with. Is that a good idea? First ever road game.

On game day, you might like hanging on the strip. The strip (Kingston Pike/Cumberland Ave) is a string of restaurants and bars at the entrance of campus. You can walk to the stadium from the strip. On Friday night they'll be a lot of students, I imagine.

Where are you staying?

Same here. Going with 4 friends on our first trip. We should meet up if possible.

We aren't sure yet. I am going with Geauxpack81 and 3 other friends. If we can get a spot with Cracker, we will try to go there. If not we will probably go to the Strip or Calhouns. Or possibly just bring an ice chest with some beer and find a tailgate somewhere to hang out at.

We're not all 21 yet want to all drink so we're kind of limited to an ice chest of beer and tailgating that way. I just have no idea where to go ha.

Same here. None of us are 21, but I think we can get into most of the places before we just need someone to buy drinks.

Alright, well I think we've decided on the ice chest of beer route. If you guys decide to go that way you can message me your number and we'll try to meet up.
