A poor college football player? I never said I was a good one

While he was not on Jamal Adams' level, he was still a good player for us. Take him away and we for sure lose a couple big games during his time here. Definitely would have lost against Florida in 2014

I guess the rest of the class is mainly 3 stars, might as well end it that way too.

So good enough to make an NFL roster

NFL rosters have 37 cuts to make before the season starts. He hasn't made an NFL roster

If Coach O's strength is supposed to be recruiting, how come this class looks like it won't finish top 10?

His brother got to repeatedly start at QB at an SEC school with SWAC level skills. How can anyone feel bad for him?

Rickey was a really good safety. Jordan was a terrible QB.
LSU QBs with 2 wins over Bama is is a real short list.

Jordan Jefferson was better than Harris and Jennings.

LSU QBs with an all-time historically bad offensive performance vs Bama (or anyone) is a real short list, too.

To even be considered you have to be a pretty solid college player at worst.

It's always funny when people use the few outliers to try to make a point. There are FAR more 3 stars that didn't do well than there are kids like Claiborne, Mathieu, Tyson Jackson and Hester.

Also, 13 of the 21 commits are 3 stars, that's not good recruiting at all. How many of those are gonna turn into starters, much less All SEC players like Claiborne? That was just a ridiculous statement.

When it happens multiple times, as you just pointed out, it isn't an outlier.

I'm not even saying he'll pan out. It's just that the HS ranking system is flawed as they are projecting guys from teams and leagues with vastly different talent levels.

Since 2007:
Lee 2008 (he was worse than what the stats would indicate)
Lee 2011
Jennings 2014
Harris 2015
Etling 2016
