Umm, not it wasn't. Because similar "pushoffs" will be called for a foul very little in the SEC, and in college basketball in general. Along with various other contact that occur in every possession that could be called if you want to start being ticky-tack.
The game was called even, LSU got a few more calls in the 1st half, UK got more in the second half. The only bad call that really stood out to me was a UK put back that was egregiously over the back and not called.

exactly, the guy was guarding way too close and if anything he should have been called for a foul, Thornton cleared out and the UK defender made it look worse than it was by kinda flopping.

There were several instances of reaching in contact by Kentucky that could have been called in that one possession, if one wanted to blow the whistle bad enough. That would have sent us to the line.

I've been saying this since the issue has been brought up. That was anything but clean defending and if there was a foul it should have been called on the UK player who was hockey style body checking MT all over the floor.

Regardless...this didn't give us the game. Taz still had to make the shot and a shot that isn't traditionally his best shot. He made it...we went up by three and played defense to win. WE WIN...END OF CONTROVERSY!!
