The player props are so easily to manipulate. Rushing attempts and those type are ripe for fraud.

Says a lot of what the NFL has become...
For years they said they would never have a team in Vegas because of the gaming ramifications, now look where we are...
You wonder if the games are controlled?

The rulebook protects the show, not the call. Referee is final. Most flags aren’t reviewable. “Extraordinarily unfair acts” almost never unwind a result. A blown PI in a conference title game stands because reversing it would mean the league admitted the ending was illegitimate.
Catch / PI / roughing stay mushy on purpose. Vague rules let the booth pick a story: “he’s a receiver” one week, “he didn’t survive the ground” the next. That’s discretion, and discretion is where a league that cares about ratings can lean.
Narratives pay. Super Bowl teams, star QBs, New York / Dallas / KC in primetime. Close games and overtime are worth more than 35–3. You don’t need a smoke-filled room for that — you need replay, enforcement, and scheduling that never quite punish the product.
The league already said the quiet part on the website: fantasy and NFL.com games are “exclusively for entertainment purposes.” The telecast is “for the private use of our audience.” They’re telling you what the broadcast is.

Any league that has Bryce Young and Cam Ward as #1 overall picks is fake

I mean, the league was founded by bookies or those involved with them, so they’re going back to their roots.

The Spygate lawsuit lays it all out. The NFL isn’t required to present an honest and fair contest. It’s an entertainment league just like the WWE in terms of legality.

I don't gamble and I hadn't thought of this on a micro level. I usually think wins, losses, and point spread. You are correct, there's enormous potential to manipulate these individual numbers.

In the NBA I think James Harden did it twice in one week where he was a bucket away from hitting his prop at halftime then quit taking shots and stayed under. Pro Sports is a joke in the US
