Pianoman - make sure you go back and edit out your email address, once you make contact with the young man - not so much the guys here, but there are bots that scan boards for email addresses to sell.

Basically when a Drill SGT makes you do a lot of every kind of exercise that he can think of. There is no set time limit, but in 1996 I know they lasted for usually a minimum of "Seems like an eternity." Then they took us to the pit!

Nothing like a good ol GI party. Basically taking everything out of the barracks and setting it up exactly like it was setup inside. only to move it back inside after cleaning the barracks. Like everyone else has said keep your mouth shut and go with the flow. Its only so many days and they can't stop time.

Been there, done that, with two other LSU buddies(all 256th LANG), had to watch 1987 LSU-Indiana Regional Final, Lakeshow rout of Boston(cleaned up on my platoon's seaborders on this one), and Hagler-Leonard(lost a lil bit on this one), all on replay once home.
At least you will be in air-conditioned barracks..Sand Hill. We weren't in the AC/Heat..Harmony Church last cycle before decommissioned for Basic.
