I think there is enough data on Cowan out there now. Teams know his 2 pitches, and are laying off the change-up. He needs to develop another pitch badly

The pitching just matches the fielding and the hitting.

Team is riddled with holes up and down the lineup, as well as in the bullpen.

Besides 2 pitchers. It’s been the narrative all season. Don’t be shocked now!
________

Cowan was unhittable for a good part of the season, but hasn't been himself for 3 or 4 series now. Wondering if teams have figured out something from tape on him.

#1 in college baseball, don't ya know!
_________

Shows that we have to execute to win. Good enough to be a top 8 team, but lose to a team having a down year if we don't make the plays. We failed in too many areas tonight. Team loss.

Ware was a pretty weak starter,
The base running blunders at 3rd,
Shores was ok, but not the guy we hoped for this year,
Braswell misplays an easy grounder,
Several plays in the outfield could have made a difference,
Cowan is not executing like he did earlier in the season.

The sky is not falling and we likely win the series. Our talent showed up, just not enough. Milam's defense was great. Braswell had 3 hits against his old team. Pearson's catch and throw late in the game was elite. Dickson did his part.

Hard to out it on just the pitching. The amount of walks was disgusting. Our bad base running, fielding were not good, but the ability for our line up to consistently be shut down by sub-par pitching is ridiculous.
