Just not that good!!!

Think about what started last night! Bryce at 1st and Beau at DH(Yes Beau is having a good year) to start. They do play hard and give all they can. Our 2B last night has not hit or played in 5 years. He also hit 3rd. If I was another hitter on this team I would be embarrassed. Slaughter is hit and miss. 4-6-3 DP vs ULL and 2-4 last night. Hal is an outstanding SS and from what has been published is overachieving as a hitter. Reid, when he plays, is probably the worst athlete on the field. Cabrera is showing glimpses of the expectations he came in with. Feduccia is OK. Should be hitting 7/8 hole but has to hit up because we are not that good. Duplantis and Watson are who they are. Smith and Broussard we need back in a bad way. Pitching is a whole different story. We have a thin, light throwing Freshman as our Sunday starter(although he has been dominant). We get used to having great success all the time. Listening and reading this group may be overachieving!
