Hope he is remorseful for what he did and realizes we don't need that kind of wrap. He doesn't need that kind of wrap.

Every team gets a player like that sometimes. He's good but kinda of a piece of shite. Sorry

It was a bad play.
But he saw that Dre got past him and tried to throw a block by reaching around and getting contact on the front part of his body.
It was crazy for him to do that.
But he wasn't intentionally trying to injure anyone and IT WASN'T HOLDING FOR DAM SURE

I was pretty blasted last night so I'm having trouble remembering what it was he did.. can someone enlighten me?

The act was unacceptable. He hurt his team. May have hurt the Bama player. I trust Miles/Chief will have a "Come to Jesus" meeting with him.

Bring the lord's second child for the meeting. Tebow?

It's not like he's a dirty player. It was one bonehead move.
Posted on 11/6/11 at 10:41 am to SohCahToa
He grabbed Dre by the shoulder, swung him around, threw him down, and Dre hit his head and hurt his neck.
It wasn't that bad. It looked worse than it was. The injury came from the fall not the hit.

Him and that guy he struck had been jawing at each other all night, i knew something like that was gonna happen, but still you are right, he shouldn't have done it. TM you are a better player than that.

Bench him! Ron Brooks played great against Auburn...lets let him start.
Posted on 11/6/11 at 10:42 am to SohCahToa
He didn't really do that much. He got his arm on Dre Kirkpatrick's shoulder and near his neck to slow him down on a kick coverage, trying not to hit him in the back. Dre did a "silly billy" exaggerated fall to make sure the refs threw the holding flag, which they did. But during his fall, with his arms splayed out in a twisting "did you see that" soccer-style falling gesture, he fell on the back of his head and damn near knocked himself out.

He threw an arm-bar which is a legal play and is coached at all of the universities. His arm just got too high and hit him in the throat region.

TM7 needs to own his irresponsible play...but we need TM7 back there..I can create an entire highlight reel on boarderline dirty or late hits by Kirkpatrick...Bama wouldn't trade him for anyone as well

He's definitely shown questionable character in several decisions throughout the season.

When homerism gets taken to unexcusable levels...
You realize that is Matthieu doesn't make the hit...Kirkpatrick doesn't fall like he does, and it goes back to Matthieu's hit, correct?
