again, it's not necessarily the recognizing of mistakes, but the masses who have all the answers without knowing the internal circumstances. They go on and on with their strategies assuming they'd work with the conditions the man has going on now. They drag him through the mud KNOWING they have all the solutions and yet don't know what's happening behind closed doors.
Based on this rationale, every single firing in history is unjustifiable.
Your argument applies as well to Curley Hallman as it does Les Miles.

faulk out.....who else? Oh that's right! Why can't that idiot Les Miles put in La'el "5-star" Collins our future NFL HOF?!?!?!
maybe because the kid's not ready and has problems with blowing assignments OR that he has told Les he isn't comfortbale yet with moving there.
Hey, if you want to bitch about/ask why they didn't do everything they could to keep Ben around, that would make mountains more sense.

Literally, anyone would be better than Hurst at this point. He has been the worst player on the field the last two seasons.

Huh.....no it doesn't. One wins and one was the worst in school history.

Last season he was very productive at RT. WTF?
Besides, there is one big body that has been by far the worst and no one is picking up on it.....and I sure as hell am not throwing him under the bus.

Do you know more about football than Curley Hallman? Do you know the internal issues present with the LSU football program between 1991-1994? Do you know whether there were execution and other player issues?
No, you don't.
So you can't criticize.

Try to watch more than just the ball.

Either this 2-3 deep elite talent we are recruiting is overrated or the development isnt there, or the system just isn't right for the personnel.
What player has improved under Miles?

That's a pointless question. What does it even mean?
Does he know more about his own football players than we do? Sure. But contrary to widespread opinion, football is not rocket science. It's not brain surgery. I would say that MANY of us know a major elements of football more than he does.

Offensive players are few and far between.

Your position is National Champs or nothing......dude, that's weak.
No its not. We are more talented than 95% of teams in college football. And yes we had the best season we have ever had last year, even though we lost in the natl champ. But, its the way we lost and what our offense did. It did the exact same thing vs UF. Were behind, we go back to the same crap we always do with the runniing the ball vs 9 in the box and rely on our D making a big play and it did vs UF with the fumble inside the 10. What did we do? Called 2 TOs to draw up a toss dive jump pass.
Lets say the WRs make those catches and we do beat UF. Id be happy we won, but I still would not be happy with our offense because we run the most bland offense in the nation and we are the most predictable team in the country. Hilliards in the game, its up the middle. Fords in the game, its outside. Wares in the game up the middle. Shotgun with Ware in the backfield, watch him out the back field. O Mett is checking out, its a quick slant or skinny post. I mean we run pass plays where we only send out 1 or 2 receivers and half the time its a fullback with a lone WR. Its not like our offense is just bad, its the worst in the country and majority of it is the system Les loves to run. Its been the same for years and every team knows what we are going to do.

Roaad has got it. I cant remember the last player that has gotten better over the years on offense.

Very serious. In all honesty, your credibility with me is shot. Not trying to be ugly about it, but where you view LSU and where I view it will never converge.

Exactly and why is it the defensive players seem to rarely make mistakes or when a freshmen plays he isn't a liability? I am going to go with how they are coached and the fact they play in a scheme that utilizes their talent.
CLM is an oline guy....so how in the hell are they such a liability? I am tired of the injury excuse.

Not to mention Miles had gotten plenty of help from HB7 last year. His turnovers and PR TDs were crucial.

Well, heard a quote last night that made sense and that was in the SEC, every coach is always on the hotseat.
The conference members don't really rest on their laurels and it is "what have you done for me lately."
This is why the SEC is on top of the Football pyramid now because it is a dog eat dog conference
Miles has achieved enough to earn him a lot of credit to take care of the debits but in this current day and age it is barely enough to buy him a year or two.
Whether it is unfortunate or not - I don't know but it is the state of affairs.
