Isn't it great that we saved him and Evans for Sunday, and left them in the bullpen to watch us fall in yet another hole? Wouldn't want to do what's best for the team, or anything... let's go ahead and start the guy who's had no consistency, because we've decided he's our Sunday guy, no matter what, even though we had our two best pitchers fully rested, and able to extend.
This was almost as brilliant as giving away the Texas series by using Cowan with a 6 run lead in one game, and not using Evans with a 1 run lead in the next.
And if that isn't exciting enough, I'm sure someone will be here shortly to tell me that if I know so much, I should go coach a baseball team. There's nothing more fun after a well thought out loss than to be told that questioning a lack of common sense is somehow a sign of ignorance.
