Eades provides a type of pitcher that that are not used to--a power arm with a 92-95mph fastball and some above average offspeed.
I think the matchup is better than throwing glenn, as glenn's repetoire is closer to what jsu has seen a lot this year

For what it's worth, Paul Mainieri is just giving a little coaches' speak with that comment. If any of you think any SWAC pitcher has comparable stuff to Cody Glenn, then you've never watched a SWAC game. Many SWAC pitchers have decent arms with below average off speed. I agree with the part of the Jackson St hitters not seeing a pitcher like Eades, but they don't have any lefties in the SWAC with Glenn's stuff either.
