Y’all showed a ton of fight to even have the chance to tie that game. But to rank LSU ahead of Florida state after they pretty much controlled y’all’s matchup for 59 minutes (and then still won) is a head scratcher

He probably thinks LSU is improving significantly is why. With all the transfers LSU has it's possible to see a different team by the middle of the season.

The ratings are based off of a computer model. He's not making the ranking selections himself. This is basically saying that they would be a pick-em on a neutral field, or LSU would be a very slight favorite.
The ratings has Miss State at 12 btw.

thats because if LSU and FSU played 10 times, LSU would win 8 of them, they just happened to get lucky opening night.

They didn’t control the matchup we fricking muffed 2 punts and had two kicks blocked and played as bad as we possibly could and they won by 1pt. We are the better team an have more talent,had we had a practice game beforehand like Florida State did we would have won. Not saying we are great but we are a better team than Florida State we just played terrible

I stand corrected. I agree if y’all were to play again it’d be a pick ‘em. It seems others in this thread may disagree with that though

FSU had a game advantage on us. We muffed two punts inside the 20. Had a field goal and PAT blocked. We play them again at the latter half of the season and we beat them by 10.

Yes the tigers made some crucial mistakes, but with the talent y’all have compared to Florida state it shouldn’t have mattered. They controlled both lines of scrimmage and when you do that you win more times than not. Not a reflection on BK or what I think y’all can be with him, he’s a good coach. But Florida state deserved to win that game

And that is what the guy said. However, if it was a best of three series I’d bet on lsu. Lsu played as bad as a team can play and still should have forced ot somehow. I agree that lsu wins that game 8/10 times.

FSU looked like the better team and was more creative on offense. LSU did a good job to close the gap and almost send it into OT, but FSU still played the better game. I do think they had a slight edge playing a game before us, but nothing in that game suggested we'd win 8/10 if we played them that many times.
