When did this occur? Every time I see it mentioned, he calls it "Joe Brady's Offense" which is hardly taking credit for the offense.

That’s a pretty naive take.

Sure, we may not need Ed and it’s obvious he fell arse backwards into the 2019 season.

But I remember the 1990s. Not just ANY coach can come in here and win.

Hell, even Bama was almost an afterthought between Stallings and Saban.

Jordy was saying that yesterday Coach O had to look down and when people brought that up. Jordy made it sound like he was disgusted inside when a reporter brought up Joe Brady offense and Joe Burrow offense. That’s why he kept saying coach O needs to stop looking for credit and wear that as a badge of honor.

There is absolutely zero doubt at this point that Woodward is building a file on Orgeron.

Everybody you talk to at LSU knows it. It isn't a secret over there.

IF you didn't know that, this spring when Woodward went on Jim Engster's show and threw Orgeron under the bus for "politicizing" LSU football by saying nice things about Trump, in a state that went nearly 60 percent for Trump, after Orgeron was hosting fundraisers for JBE in 2019 at the Andonie Museum, it really was an unmistakable tipoff.

There are lots of things going on here. And most of you really aren't going to like where it leads if and when O goes 8-4 this season or worse.

No, no. I must have misrepresented what I mean. What I’m saying is that this is way deeper than the handful of issues that OP laid out (or Jordy, whatever). No one here (in all likelihood) understands their dynamic, Jordy included. The raise and extension were justified, just as you mentioned there being justifiable criticism of O. I’m pulling for O and LSU and Woodward, but this post misrepresents and oversimplifies what is a highly complex professional relationship between AD and HC. Wouldn’t you agree with that?
