Seriously, the kid brought it on himself with his behaviour and his demeanor. It's an adult lesson. Is some of the hate pathetic? Maybe, but again, I think it's a little justified in some respects. I hope he can grow up and that he is successful in his future endeavors, but people that behave in that manner are going to get called out on it.
This is complete bullshite. JLee and JJ were both booed before ever making a public statement.

There is no reason to get joy from a kid's failure and a tiger at that. I didn't like his attitude but you people are pathetic. Sit on the couch and mock a kid for not making it to the premier league when he has already done more than most of you have ever done in your athletic career.
Spot on. JJ has done more for LSU football than you haters bet will.

Where I will disagree with you is whether he was coached to use better terms in his interviews or not the fact that in the majority of his interviews he used "I" instead of "we" when describing how well he played instead of how well the team played.
Also many of those times he told us how well he had played were patently ridiculous and even a casual fan knew in a game he put up 4 yards of total offense or threw for less than 30 yards while playing the majority of the game the team won in spite of him instead of because of him. The fact that he repeatedly told us how well he played in these situations combined with Miles' stubborn refusal to pull JJ in many of these occasions all contributed to the way many Tiger fans feel about JJ.
I think his assessments of his play where he says he played well/ great/ good are pretty much defense mechanisms and him trying to stay positive. and it extends beyond himself, like when he took up for Lee right after the Bama game and said JL played "great".

I still think that Les asked a favor of Coop-bring JJ to camp and spare him (meaning Les as much as JJ) the embarrassment of JL getting a look and JJ not. So, now we have it-last in, first out.
And this is just one of the posts that shows your ignorance.

I am surprised he is not being worked out at another position. He has the size for WR. You have to admit, the kid is pretty tough.

The hate for JJ is as much Miles' fault as JJ's.I think the kid did everything he could do.I think he gave it everything he had.But he should not have started a single game in 2011.
We don't win on Nov 5 without JJ. While I wanted Lee to be the starter, it was clear he was rattled in that game. Do understand why Lee wasn't allowed to continue starting. it was clear that we were more balanced with him in

I couldn't figure out why the Bucs got him in the first place... The last thing we need is another running QB who was horrendous in college. He made it 3 days

I am at a complete loss to see how any LSU fan can view this as a good thing for LSU. Personally, aside from the Cecil Collins-level multiple felon/sex offender scumbags, I always want to see former Tigers do well, in football and otherwise.
Yes. I swear these have to be alters. Oh I didn't like his facial expressions or that he didn't acknowledge his shitty play like I wanted him to. It's funny that some of these posters are the same posters who constantly talked shite about JLee in 08.

He never showed the right character as a self-proclaimed leader. Les Miles put him in every position of leadership and not once did he prove that he belonged there with his performance on the football field.
Not once? I guess you forgot the whole 09 season when he had a higher qb rating than Flynn in 07. I will continue to make this statement until this myth that jj sucked his entire career is debunked

Sad part is they offered him a contract; all he had to do was sign it. They put it on the Bucs' logo at midfield with a pen ready to go. He never made it...
This had to sound funny in your head because it was an abomination in the real world

I don't care about JJ being cut or not. I will say that the myth that we don't win is exactly that. The guy who we think is going to be the next big thing, by some accounts beat out either the first or second best QB in the SEC (depending on your opinion), and a guy who looked competent in his limited time and embarrassed Ole Miss was also on the bench. You don't know what happens in the universe where 9 was unavailable for that game.

I knew it was coming.
You just had to wait for it.
Please for the love of all that's holy, just change you name to MRfrickINGREDUNDANT.

I told ya he'd never make it as a QB....only his false ego kept him from playing on the next level
Posted on 5/11/12 at 12:25 pm to Phil2012
Now that his QB dreams dashed I hope someone in his posse will tell him it's time to try another position. JJ is a very athletic kid and could probably play a couple of other positions
