Disagree. We are winning, he will only be a distraction.

Also given his play last year, why do u think this would be a boost?

You actually believe that his teammates are happy that he's going thru this amount of bullshite over a bar fight. Yes, LSU is winning right now. But, I promise you those players that are on the team aren't happy or pleased that Jefferson/Johns aren't apart of this.

Absolutely.

That's why they write his number on their arms.

Because they're happy about what's going on

Eighteen players signed statements exonerating him.

Several players have worn his number for games.

I think his return would be a huge boost for morale. The team would be whole.

Ok they are both jackasses or they just acted like jackasses that night. Maybe one of the two is acts like a jackass more than the other. Im not trying to determine who is a jackass. Do you think that the punishment is fitting for the crime. Have you ever been on a team before. These players have worked hard togather for years. Some fans dont want him back. But, the players do.

I absolutely love the amount of people on this board who don't use common sense when talking about this incident/trial.

You mad?

Nobody, I repeat nobody, from LSU is pushing for a quick resolution. Only that they receive fair treatment. Moore is getting almost no political pressure to clear. Is however getting pressure to 'do something'.

what are you trying to get at? In your previous post you come off as a person who has never played a team sport or had to deal with a teammate who was going thru some kind of hardship off the field. For you to actually believe that the players are happy that Jefferson is not apart of the program is absolutely pathetic.

No, I'm just pointing out how ill-versed you are with the publicly released facts of this issue.

I fail to see what this has to do with anything.

If you had an LSU guy or another independent source or film showing/naming a JJ as the kicker, I don't think the police have to reach to DNA to support a case in a bar room fight.
I'd like to have heard the jousting going on at the time with BRPD having nothing and Fisher/ Unglesby knowing they had nothing.
I also thought it too coincidental for both perps fingered having initials JJ, almost like there was no actual visual of the kicking. More like hearing J, or JJ, and accusers took it from there.
The whole case is weak shite that BRPD likey wishes had been left alone.

Agreed. I dont have a degree in any kind of law. But, from the outside this make BRPD and prosecuters look rediculous

I bet the responding officer wishes he didn't go back to Shady's.

It's more than reelection. From a policy standpoint, it's probably the proper thing to do.

And I still fail to see what Moore's decision to send it to a GJ or LSU's lack of pressure has to do with anything being discussed.

Moore does not just want to dismiss it. There is political pressure opposed to that. There is also no heat from the school with the #2 team in the nation to move quickly. They are happy with the status quo.

You reported he only recently even looked at the folder. So Moores proceding with MUCH caution. The rants on here are about getting this resolved quickly, so JJ can get back. Thats not going to happen, guilty or not.

Do you really think the GJ needed to be dragged out over three sessions, if he was going to No Bill this?

BRPD & the Baton Rouge local media handled this entire situation extremely poorly
