Jordan jefferson is about to embark on a journey that will take LSU to the National Championship game. You heard it here first.

Everybody, and I mean everybody is talking JJ up. I hope its true and I hope he doesn't freak out when the ball is snapped like he did last year.

We all know that JJ will never be any good because he is "out of place". This is Louisiana and nothing the guy can do will ever get the local rednecks to give the guy any credit. The defense won every one of the eleven wins. His play never contributed nor lead to LSU winning or keeping a game close. The end. Can we move on?
Oh, the race card got pulled. His statistics and play from last year is what makes most people doubt him, not his skin tone.

Mayock, Gruden, and Palmer were impressed by what they saw over the last couple of days.

Were they also impressed by what they saw over the last couple of seasons? When it really counted?

Ranked LSU #8 in the Nation.

Rohan Davey disagrees.

yea you would think the JJ fanboys wouldnt use the race card on those that arent blindly obedient to the JJ agenda when many of those who have doubted JJ also complimented Rohan, Herb Tyler and JaMarcus as being on the list of best qb's to play at LSU.
Of course it is just another example of how logic and facts dont fit with the fan club agenda. So like JJ's stats they ignore it and resort to flaming and attacking anyone who dares question their beloved JJ.

Ask him how he felt sitting behind Josh Booty in '99..who led the Nation in INTs. And again in 2000..

That was another example of coaches making a bad call. Ironic how those who say JJ must be the best because the coaches chose him as the starter forget that Rohan was a much better qb than Booty but the coaches chose Booty!

I don't get why people say JJ is horrible because he isn't, he is inconsistent. That is his real problem he will make a couple outstanding plays and then follow it up with a pass to god know who. But he does have talent you cannot deny that, and now that we have one of the best QB coaches in Krags here to help him, why could he not have improved? I'm still not going to expect a heisman candidate QB out there but come on he doesn't have to be with the talent around him. Bottom line who ever Miles puts in there I will support and believe they are the best man for the job at the time.

Because most rantards are fat, crawfish-eating slobs who don't know a football from a hole in the ground.
Having an actual X&O football discussion is a lesson in futility.

JJ's problems aren't about talent.

Luckily McElroy choked last year or it may not have been close.
Oh yeah......LSU had NOTHING to do with GM's bad play
Go kill yourself
Maybe Krag's has made JJ's mechanics a bit better........JJ has had his moments.....all you have to do is look at D. Craig from AU years ago to see that it CAN be done.
I, for one, hope JJ proves all of the hater's wrong and has a great year. Because to me, that means LSU does well as a team....and that's all that matters.

Hasn't JJ attended the Manning camp before? Didn't we hear the exact same stuff last offseason?
Mostly heard how Miles was in his last season & would go "8-5 at Best"
yep and he did not help his cause but on a couple of occasions last season. On a few he allowed JL bail him out which says something in and of itself about how anemic we were on offense.
Our D and special teams, especially early in the season were outstanding against teams that were without their full compliment of player for whatever reason.
I have said it before that when he has time to prepare between games he is a good SEC caliper QB. It is his week to week preparation that kills him.
Here are my predicitions for LSU (not Jordan Jefferson) as I believe that a team (coaches, players and support staff) share in wins and loses not an individual.
Date
Sat, Sep 3 at (3) Oregon - W (close game, but LSU wins. Oregon without a few players.) This game is a toss-up by many.
Sat, Sep 10 Northwestern State (LSU wins easily)
Thu, Sep 15 at (15) Mississippi State (Home opener for state, but after AU game and lack of prep time, LSU wins ugly. LSU fans are starting to moan as usual.) This game is a toss-up my many.
Sat, Sep 24 at West Virginia (WVU wins. LSU is their circled game of the year. They are rolling and their Offense is lead by a very solid QB by this point of the season. WVU goes on to win the East by a wide margin).
Sat, Oct 1 Kentucky (LSU gets physical on Joker)
Sat, Oct 8 Florida (LSU wins in a close game. UF O is tough and scores >21)
Sat, Oct 15 at Tennessee (Too much Ware for TENN. LSU wins going away.)
Sat, Oct 22 (1) Auburn (circled game on the schedule, LSU wins at home.)
Sat, Oct 29 BYE
Sat, Nov 5 at (10) Alabama (Bama has 3 relatively easy games before LSU and LSU has AU. Emotional win against AU will lead to their downfall. Bama QB finally settles in and D is outstanding.) This game is a toss-up by many.
Sat, Nov 12 Western Kentucky (LSU wins easily)
Sat, Nov 19 at Mississippi (LSU stomps Ole Miss)
Fri, Nov 25 (12) Arkansas (LSU beats Arky and locks-up second in the West)
LSU is 10-2 for the second straight year. At worse the team is 8-4. At best 11-1. losing one of the toss-up games. Any loss of a toss-up game outside of MSU, LSU is gonig to a major bowl perhaps the NC depending on how well they play in all of the other games.
LSU will not be considered "elite" until the offense "wins" games by beating down other strong opponents. Medocrity to poor offense and a lot of ugly wins will lead to disrespect by the talking heads again this season.

they probably weren't thinking about that since its 2011 and they are capable of realizing that players can improve
