and was not instructed to by Coach Miles. Is that a concern? What does it say about his leadership?

he got his arse handed to him and was more than likely upset with his poor performance regardless of the inefficiencies at OL. He also comes across as sorta shy when dealing with the media. Therefore, I wouldn't say that it is a concern.

if he's going to be the starting QB for LSU, he needs to step up and face the music and take the blame IMO.

Leadership does not come from how good you handle the media. The kids in college.

It says he is 19 years old and does not want the 40-55 facebook stalkers and wannabe fans at his door.

Or maybe he is catching up on his homework.

Absolutely nothing, but thanks for passing that along. I used to worry about:

1) poor OL play
2) Crowton's lousy playcalling
3) running game
4) passing game

but now I will put your info as another worry....hmmm, let's number that 5271st on the list of things that really matter!

it says he's not ready to accept responsibility for poor play. the leader of a supposed top 10 program has to face the music. if he's going to get the glory for wins, he gets the blame for losses. its just how the QB position works in football. Always saw Mauck, Randall, Russell, and Flynn talking after playing not so great ball...

He does need to accept responsibility for what he does wrong. That's correct... but this was his 7th start and first loss as a starter. Give him a break. This is part of his learning process. If he's still doing this in two years, then I'll be pissed.

As rough as JL played last year, he stepped up after every game and took responsibility for his play and talked to the media.

miles talked about this tonight, and he showed up for interviews today. said they talked about the responsibilities of the position, and that it should not happen again.

that said, he also talked about his youth and how he handles losses.. former lsu qb's used to skip it often, i'm told, i wasn't working here when that happened.

that said - thats why lee got a lot of credit last year from the media, no matter how bad it was - he'd still show face.

You think so? I'm not sure what Miles does in the locker room.

I hate to inform you but Les Miles has been infamous for protecting his players from the media which I admire. If you don't care for that approach, tough!
