I just simply can't buy the fact that JM was "no loss" to LSU.

Where would he be playing??? Richard Murphy gets one carry a game. Holiday is non-existent in this offense. How many touches would McKnight get a game? Miles likes big backs who get 20 plus carries a game. Wide receiver at LSU, yes. Running back, No.

He is not "demoted" to third string. He has still has a bit of turf toe. When healthy he starts, rotating along with Stafon Johsnon. SOmtimes he sees more action sometimes less, depning on the play calling.

I forgot how explosive that USC offense is. Scored 17 against Arizona and couldn't keep up with Oregon State. He gets less touches than both Gable and Johnson every game. BS!

You really need to understand USC and their plycalling better. You also need to understand that JM missed a couple of games or so b/c of injuries. It's okay to give props to SC or their players. It does not deter from LSU's accompishments.

I find this post particualrly funny given LSU's recent historic comeback.

Agree, especially Louisiana grown products. You're a fool to NOT wish he had chosen LSU. I hope he does well, unless he ever plays the Tigers - then I hope we go medieval on his arse.

My employee's cousin dates a girl who was a friend of Mcnight's half sister (before they had a falling out). SHE says that Joe is pretty disgruntled with PC and that RB told him on the phone (when he pledged his loyalty to PC) that he would be used in "many ways" to help the Trojans win. Now he's not even on the field for 1/2 the offensive plays. Joe may look around at the end of the season.

Not based on what they've done in college. Maybe in your head you assumed McKnight would be better but by comparing their first two seasons, KW is just as good if not better.

KW 2006:
Rush yds 436
YPC: 5.7
TD: 5
YPG. 48.4

McKnight 2007:
Yds:540
YPC: 5.7
TD: 3
YPG: 41.5
Rec. TD: 1

KW 2007:
Rush yds:458
YPC:6.8
TD: 6
YPG: 35.2
Rec. TD: 1

McKnight 2008 (10 games)
Rush yds: 484
YPC: 7.4
TD: 0
YPG 48.4
Rec. TD: 1

No I was only comparing KW's first 2 years to McKnight's first 2. McKnight hasn't had a 3rd year to compare to KW's.

So McKnight's 5 total TD's in his first 2 years looks better KW's 12 total TDs in his first 2 years w/ virtually identical other statistics? Riiiiight.

and KW didn't play at all in many games his first year. I'm comparing stats during the first two years, whether or not the guys played in all games. JM missed some games this year, KW didn't get a single snap in 4-5 games in his first year.
