I'll get downvoted for this, but IDGAF:
People ought to get statues when they are old or dead and you don't have to worry about scandal or weirdness.
I'm not that crazy about Shaq and Seimone Augustus having statues and they are great Tigers. (I was a student the same time as Shaq) At least they're retired.

Regardless of who it is, LSU isn’t putting up a statue of anyone just a few years after they graduate. It’s a long process no matter what.

When are we gonna retire the #9 jersey? That needs to happen the night of the Army game. The Bengals have a bye that weekend so it works out perfectly for all involved.
