Ooooo we get your point now. So,,, hurts making 90 some odd percent of his throws yesterday, in comparison to his average of 74%, benefits Joe Burrow and qualifies for a down week for Hurts. Thanks for clarifying and standing behind your original point with sound mathematics.

After watching UT, I'm not so sure there as good as advertised. Which means OU have played zilch in quality opponents.

Hurts had an awesome game
However, I do think Hurts is going to face "system qb" bias and "Oklahoma fatigue" for the Heisman. Tua was going to win it for career performance, kinda like the Oscar for lifetime achievement. Now that he's potentially injured, the story goes to Burrow with the same rationale as the ESPN All American predictions, which is "and he's doing it AT LSU".
But he has to deliver the goods the next two games, particularly he has to look good against Alabama. He could lose a shootout and still make it, but if they shut us down, he's out.

Interesting that 2 of the top 3 qb’s in the heisman hunt - burrow and hurts- wouldn’t even be starting for the teams that they signed with out of highschool.
I am not sure you are correct. Joe lost the starting job to Haskins. Haskins had two years to play and no one thought he would have that great of a first season. Joe could not have expected Haskins to play only one year. Haskins went pro and if Joe would have stayed, do you think Ohio State would have been looking for a transfer or Fields would have even looked at Ohio State with a fifth year Senior as quarterback? Fields would have transferred to another team. Fields couldn't beat out Fromm. Hurts couldn't beat out Tua.
