Hey don't let facts get in your way. The media, which is controlled by white america repeats a lie for decades pertaining to welfare and black people. While there are many black people on welfare, there are MORE white people on welfare than blacks. But the white controlled media will not spin that message to the masses.

And more whites are killed by cops than blacks. What do you think about those facts?

The most cursory google search of institutional racism correlating to black arrests makes this argument toothless

keep thinking this way and no problem will ever be fixed in that community. Everything is white peoples fault huh? Take some goddamn responsibility. And this particular situation is messed up and the cop should be in jail for life. It doesn't only happen to black people though like yall love to pretend.

That white and black people should come together to reform the justice system, especially in regards to police conduct, and not just kneejerk that all lives matter when the black community tries to tell their side of the story. Pretty simple.

It goes both ways buddy. Black people like to pretend this is an issue only in their world. They had 95% of the country on their side in this one before all the rioting and blaming all white people. You'd get a lot more support for police reform if you didn't package your argument like "black people being murdered and hunted" and recognized its an issue for everyone.

I'll ask you the same question. What do you do for a living? Do you ever speak about anything else besides your work?

They tried kneeling. That was banned.
They tried to peacefully protest. Furgerson happened, and then the same scenarios multiplied across the country.
The current president showed up to police rallies and encouraged violence.

I'm sorry the country didn't pay attention given the dozens of opportunities.

Ferguson was rooted in a lie as well as most of these. This one was the one to hitch your wagon to and make a stink about. Yall ruined it with the rioting. Sorry man. And why ignore the rest of my post about this not being only an issue for black people? If you really wanted us to come together for police reform you would acknowledge that fact but you wont.

As a Black Man, I will not turn a blind eye to the racial injustices in America. As far as getting our affairs in order, how about AMERICA get their affairs in order. You see even by Mr. Floyd doing the right thing by being compliant, he WASN'T combative, yet he still died. I would be willing to wager, if more law enforcement officers were held accountable to the fullest extent of the law like the ordinary citizen, when they perpetuate a violation of human rights that lead to the death of that person, there would be far less deaths.

My response was to the person that was implying about black people on welfare, yet he didn't mention there are more whites on welfare than blacks, yet here you are, changing the subject to fit your agenda.

Now since you ask my opinion on your ASSUMPTION that more whites are killed by cops that blacks, well I would like to see where you get your facts from. Because I will call bullshite on that. Hell, after Dylan Roof killed those 9 innocent church members the damn cops took him to fricking Burger King cause he said he was hungry.

Why not both?

the man was murdered by an on-duty police officer. I believe that the court system will show this to be the case

Because whites have a significantly higher population in the US than blacks this is obviously true. However, in proportion to their smaller number, black people are several times more likely to be killed by police. Hope that helps. God bless.
