Not knocking Burrow, but his weapons are suspect. He'll be rookie forcing throws

Bet the over on both.

Down vote away. Machomes threw 12 INTs after sitting a whole year in the NFL system behind Alexis Smith.

Burrow is going to light it up but he’s going to throw some picks, he’s also going to throw a lot of touchdowns. The offensive line will have a lot to do with his INT/TD ratio.

I'll take the Over on 300 first week.

But I'll also take the Over on 12 picks. That's not knockin Joe, just credit to NFL defenses.

UNDER 300. They play the Chargers week 1. Good defense with a really good secondary.

Over 12 picks for the season. Rookie QB. Bengals.

His weapons are solid.

His OL is suspect, which is likely worse.

His weapons are better than his OL

Boyd, Higgins, green and Mixon. That’s a solid group.

Peyton Manning had 28 INTs his rookie season btw. Starting as a rookie in the NFL is hard as frick. Even the greats have a ton of growing pains.

Most of the stud QBs in the league had some time as a backup (Brees/Brady/Rodgers/Mahomes).

Only way he goes under 12 INTs is if he gets hurt. I don’t think anyone wants to see that happen

250 yards week 1, 2 INTs

Over 12 INTs on the year. He's a rookie and will be throwing under duress the entire year. He has some jump ball receivers too, so I see him taking some chances like he did with Chase and Marshall.

Agree

Disagree. He has Mixon, Green, Boyd, and Higgins. He may make some bad decisions because his OL is garbage though.

What? No they aren’t

His line is a question but he’s got talent at WR.

AJ Green, Tyler Boyd, and Austen Tate are all quality to really good WRs.

Hopefully Burrow can unlock former top 5 pick John Ross while he’s there. But he’s also got Tee Higgins with high upside in that offense

Then Joe Mixon is a top flight NFL back and Gio Bernard is one of the best 3rd down backs in the league

Right.

He's got higher echelon skill guys around him. He's got a TERRIBLE OL though.

Really worried for his health to be honest. Thank god he's such a tough SOB.

O Lines take some time to develop. They are getting their first round tackle back from injury from last year so that’s a plus.

Burrow gets the ball out so quickly and decisively, he should be able to protect himself and be successful. Younger guys usually come into the league thinking they can hold that ball all day and then just get crushed. I think Burrow is a step ahead of that curve already and will be ready to roll.

Sacks are just as much if not more a QB stat than an Oline stat.

I agree with that. Also, he's got wonderful (dare I say Brady-esque) pocket awareness. And very good athleticism on top of that.

He'll be ok.
