once again, the depth thing comes up, we (LSU, not only JJ) tired them out.

So, you're basing your expert analysis on ONE DRIVE in ONE GAME??? Well, THAT changes everything!

So, you're telling me when JJ's in the game, the ypc are better?

Yes.

A lot better.

It's simply because the front seven has to account for two rushers instead of one. It isn't a difficult concept.

I'm not saying he should start or even take a majority of the snaps, but rushing yards are going to be hard to come by against Alabama and he may be able to help us loosen the front seven up.

He wasnt hurt this week on the long 3rd downs Lee came back in for.
Was he?

This will be the game where Miles will let JJ play freely and utilize his ability to run and throw to keep the Bama defense off balanace.

1st and 10: Tackle for loss; botched option
2nd and 12: Pass breakup
3rd and 12: Sack

JJ will not be the key to LSU beating Bama. Being 2 dimensional on offense is the key to beating Bama. Establishing the pass. Not turning the ball over. Being efficient at the QB position. None of which are tasks JJ is capable of.

Do we usually see an increase in running yards from the first to second half?

Hint: I know the answer.

tough to run the ball against 8-9 man fronts.

Okay.

Are you making my point for me?

I think the reason we beat Bama is because we have an amazing punter (Brad Wing), and we have a NFL WR (RR).

Other than that I would say we are pretty even.

Scoring more points before the clock reaches 0:00 will be the key to LSU beating Bama.

Oh, wait. We play Auburn this week.

No, last year we average over a yard more per carry when Jefferson was in the game compared to Lee.

We only had 47 rushing yards against Tennessee in the first half. It was our lowest half of rushing by a great deal.

We normally see an increase in rushing in the second half, but against Tennessee we went from 47 yards to 213 yards.

yep, cant have things that shred your arguments (like 106th rated passer) come into play.

Then you just look stupid.

No because I can bring up JL's past stats and make you look stupid. See how that works. It is evident that you just don't like JJ because of what you got out of my post. I will be pleasantly suprised if JL handles Bama's defense without getting sacked, without an int, or without JJ's help.

Real football does not work like PS3/XBox football

You need to be balanced, make them respect the pass and your running will open up.

Just because someone can run doesnt mean they are going to beat a great defense.
Ex #1) OREGON vs LSU
Ex #2) WVU vs LSU

no, my point is why not throw more on 1st or 2nd down?
That can make them abandon that shite real quick.
We chose not to do that though for some reason.

and this is all attributable to JJ playing, as you pointed out?

Get the frick out of here. We had over 80 rushes with Lee in the game last year.
