We will have trouble running the ball against Bama no matter who is at QB. Therefore, it will be imperative to establish the passing game. JJ was not, is not, and never will be a credible, consistent passing threat.

I hope you're wrong.

History shows that you beat Alabama by running the ball and controlling the clock.

If we have to throw the ball 25+ times, we're going to be in trouble.

we'll probably need him to loosen up Alabama's front seven.
JL with the play action, good passing and a solid running game will force BAMA to spread it out on defense.

I like the quick passes to OBJ and RR then hit them deep

read the subject line..... dont need to read the rest... I think you are dead wrong. JJ has had nothing to do with us being where we are right now, and while he gives our Off. an added wrinkle... I do not think we need him to win.

yep, successful running. Which means when they stack the box, we had better be able to pass effectively to move the safeties and linebackers back.

JJ is not good at this. JL is ranked #22 in D1A

I thought that's what a good passing game did?

Considering the last times we have thrown that much, you would think that people would know this.

L O L. So you think that hits from JJ running between the tackles will soften up the Bama D-Line better than Ware...

JJ will not be able to run on Bama like he did on TN. Book it. We are going to need a steady passing game to win!!

14 snaps taken from the RB's and given to JJ

People complaining about fords touches should look no further than JJ

He's getting them.

my god, some JJ fans are delusional... I want LSU to succeed no matter what but he is not superman. Bama is smart enough to shut down JJ "excellent" running game

I don't know why, but I just have this feeling that the Bama game will be JJ's game and Miles will give him the some point in the first half of this game.

JJ played well against bama last year.

You guys keep saying this, but the fact of the matter is the "team" runs the ball better with Jefferson in the game. Alabama's greatest defensive asset is their LBing corp. With Jefferson in, it lessens this advantage because they have to account for two runners in the backfield.

If we can get one or two good, time consuming drives against Alabama with Jefferson in the game, then we increase our chances ten fold.

I do think our passing game (especially Randle) needs to come up with big plays, but it's more of a "take your shots when they're there" philosophy.

If we try to sling the ball all over the field against Alabama, we lose.
