As long as its not a standing ovation I can live with. I don't want anyone blocking my view that damn early in the day.

all you people need to realize your in the minority with the whole JJ is bigger than the team angle.
I cheer LSU as a team, no one player is bigger than the team, especially one that has preformed as poorly as he has on the field.
I swear all of you bleeding heart idiots act as if JJ is returning from a bout with cancer or something.
Since you directed this to me, do you think I have alluded to this? If so, your reading comprehension is as bad as your grammar.

Do you know how witch hunts got started in the 1600's? Usually someone got upset with someone else and falsely accused them of witchcraft. It was the liar's word that was used as proof that the accused was practicing in dark magic. So, technically, unless you think Lowery didn't lie, it was kinda a witch hunt.
Jesus christ...when things seem they have reached rock bottom...this surfaces.
JJ is back on the team as he should be. His involvement was reduced to a misdemeanor, and is absolutely nothing like a "witch hunt." Just let it go, he is back on the ream an be happy he will see some playing time. I, for one, am glad to see him reinstated but the dude isn't a martyr.

wonder why?
I stood up and applauded him.
As I will JJ.

The guy has been through a lot, and from the grand jury's perspective, what he has been through was unwarranted. Most would agree that he is a good guy, not a thug that got away with something. He is LSU through and through and deserves a big cheer.
I agree.

You were the last person to post on the thread when I hit reply, but I do think you are an assclown, so GFY. You can go cheer and cry when your hero JJ comes back on the field to call times outs, run for zero gain and throw balls at WRs feet.

I don't see why people are so against a show of support for a player who has been through alot.
Not like somebody is demanding donations. . .

Why? because he kicked a guy in the head but did not kill him so penalty was reduced....WTF is wrong with you. Seriously, ok with him coming back, but HE DOES NOT DESERVE ANYTHING, other than the right to put on that uniform and give his best. This is whats wrong with sports and our country, people that want to give someone something they do not deserve!

Sometimes quietness makes its own statement. What if he entered the game and there was virtually no fan reaction - no applause or boos. I know that is what I will be doing.

Anyone booing the guy is a frickwad. I agree he doesn't "deserve" a hero's welcome but no one should boo the guy

It was a response to a shortsighted post. Calm down.

The guy kicking obviously had on all black. JJ had a light colored shirt. It amazes me how people see what they want.

Did not call for a BOO, so guess their is another "frickwad" (nice word, still stuck in 8th grade I see)you forgot to quote.

I disagree. He should get a polite welcome, but that's it. JL is the starter and a big ovation would be a negative for him.

You, sir, should never post again. Sorry, better luck next time.
One of the stupidest things I've heard in a while. So let me get this straight, because JJ PUT HIMSELF in this situation by getting involved with a fight, THE FANS should show him support because he WENT THROUGH A LOT?
Ever think about just not getting involved with a dumbass fight when you are the starting QB of a top-5 program?
I suppose the next time someone gets out from a 30-year jail sentence for murdering several people, we should show them support because of all they went through in jail.
