Yep. I just hope its nothing exotic. The reason why he was so successful against FLA is because those blitzes we very simple cover zero blitzes

half of these idiots would like him put in jail for the maximum sentence because he deserves it right? I mean he did break a fake curfew after all.

everyone (i assume) keeps forgetting or does not take into account that he has NEVER been in trouble with the school/coach/law before.

That alone just about guarantees a VERY favorable plee bargain.

good thing offenses have plays to make you pay for blitizing the shite out of the qb.

Id think a couple draws or slip screens that pick up chunks of yards will make chip re-think this "blitz the shite out of em" theory.

I said it will be reduced to a misdemeanor.

Since his own lawyer said they aren't going to accept a deal, because he is INNOCENT.

Why in gods name would he plead down?

You realize if it wasn't an LSU player in the same circumstances, they'd have been arrested the day after the incident right? On the same witness statements, right?

Would they have gone after a search warrant if it wasn't an LSU player? Would they have sent evidence off for DNA testing over a battery claim at a bar in which there is conflicting witness statements? Would they have charged a regular guy with 2nd degree battery given the same circumstances?

Listen, you can say that you have to take the good and the bad as an athlete at LSU. But don't try to pretend that this case was handled in a typical manner.

you're right.

all suspects are given a week to get their stories straight, and find appropriate legal representation that makes statements to the press beforehand?

Yeah, they were treated horribly.

over a bar fight kicking a man while he is down is what I believe has JJ in this jam... not a "bar fight" If he wasnt the one fighting then this even makes it look worse for him.

Where is the rule book for bar fighting?

Closed fist to the jaw better than a kick? I never knew that....

Honestly

or because he is black. that is what SOME think anyway (relax, not many think that i am sure).

it has divided this town to some extent. We are just caught up in the euphoria of game week right now.

then he would accept a guilty plea to make it go away...even for reduced charges.

Or he would have to wait out the trial, and in that case he STILL wouldn't be playing.

Oh, what reason do you think they are going to reduce the charges?

No but lets not compare to 30 year old men in the NFL. How about Garcia, Mettenberger, Mallet, Masoli, Newton, T Tolliver, and countless other College players.

I said from day 1 of this if it had been a more popular LSU athlete involved, the media would have handled it entirely differently and they would not have been presumed guilty from day one. I can promise you that there were players on our national championship teams that were involved in bar fights in tigerland.

I will support whoever lines up under center for our team and I truly hope that JLee plays the best football of his life this year, but there are tons of people in this city with venom towards JJ because they don't feel he is as good of a quarterback as they deserve.
Honestly answer this question, if by chance Drew Brees punched a guy that started a fight with him and broke the guys jaw, would Drew be arrested for a felony?

I completely agree with this post.

JJ has split this fanbase in many cases. Between the folks who support him and the folks who hate him and I mean HATE him. This kid gets more shite thrown at him than Perrilloux imho.

where do you people come up with shite like this?

IDK what Jlee's flaws are...
tugging his shoulder pads.?
throwing ints as a fresh?
snaking your girlfriend at tigerland?

Honeslty IDK and I dont really care.
Im concerned about saturday.. not shite that happened two weeks ago with players that arent on the team anymore.
Once again BRO... just move on, drop it, forget about it.. let it go.

uummm because the DA would be really fricking stupid to try this case by jury.

That is not going to happen. This is why i think his lawyer will not plea bargin, this makes it more likely the case will be dropped all together.

how did i know TIGRLEE and CptBengal would be all up in this bitch.

btw...i love how Bengal describes the week of Jefferson getting followed by the media, searched by police on television, and DNA and forensics tests run on him like it was a damn vacation.

JJ is suspended...y'all can stop bashing the kid now.
