you and ty have some serious social issues. i hope yall get that worked out.
it's so bad yall can't call it like it is because you feel like your little brother is being discriminated against.
you know Lee is scared as hell to take a hit and the staff and team knows it more than anyone. he played well until he got shook up at Bama. he will come in and play when it's safe. now, shut up. we have a title to win.

Jump pass was great.. But even i predicted that against Florida, even the announcers mentioned because he tried it last season and FAILED.
You better go rewatch the games again with Lee as the starter, they weren't predictable. Long bombs, long passes down the middle, the fake hand out pass. the screen passes.... The slants. the flares...The list goes on ... Lee has a full package and Jefferson has the no brainers ... The game might not be meant to be exciting (your opinion) but it sure was with Lee in.
Jefferson has problems remembering the plays, and that is a fact... They show it on replays all the time, where he has to call Time outs or has to look at his wrist band under the center.
What else have you predicted? It's a fact that Jefferson has problems remembering the plays? Why was JJ the starter coming into the season? If you can't remember the playbook you sit. JL throws the ball no more then 15 times on average a game, that is fricking predictable. JL's plays are simple plays. You need to just shut up and watch the game cause you don't know football.

Where was he the first 8 games?

JJ put up his great numbers against W.Kent and Ole Miss. Damn powerhouses I tell yea.

And you don't think it is extremely predictable that when JJ is in with JC Copeland lined up next to him that it is going to be a "read-option" except JJ is never going to hand it off, he just follows JC as a lead blocker. Haven't seen that play get more than 2 yards yet.
That is not a zone read my friend. I hate the play too, because you take away the best component of the zone read.

ETA granted JJ has come around but there was nothing except the bama game that lee messed up. and JJ didnt do shite in that game either so why pull lee?
JJ didn't do shite? There was a reason JJ was the starter at the beginning of the season before he got messed over, and JL showed that reason in the Bama game. If you couldn't see that, then you must have been one of the many "fans" who turned away in disgust and only bitched and moaned about JL being taken out of the game instead of actually watching what JJ did on the field that warranted his replacing Lee.
To me, both players have their strengths and weaknesses. Lee is better at running a precision offense and an up-tempo style play because he has the quicker release. Jefferson has the advantage in plays that take a little longer to develop because he isn't afraid to stay in the pocket longer to allow the receivers to get open. Granted, sometimes he misses his window, but he can extend the play with his legs and he doesn't have happy feet syndrome like Lee. Either way, both of these kids wear purple and gold, and I'm rooting for both when they're on the field.

JJ has looked improved, but people are acting like he's been great. Simply put, he's done well against mediocre to awful competition, and as some said, he sucked against Auburn outside of 1 pass.
Les wants a running QB for some reason and that is his choice. JJ wasn't great against Bama. He was actually far from good. As a passer he was mediocre, but ran the option well.
JJ struggled against WKU in the first half, and then our running game took over in the second half. He put up some yards, sure, but most of it came on 1 play.
Both are adequate QBs, and each offers different strengths, but JJ is not playing lights out against legit competition. Sorry.
Lee had 3 mediocre to bad games in 9 games. I still say you can somewhat throw out the UO game since it was his first game on short notice with little reps with the first team. The UK game was littered with the most drops I've ever seen by a WR corps.
JJ hasn't thrown INT's but has taken more sacks in his 7 games than Lee took in his 11 games this season. Again, each has their weaknesses and strengths, and Les will determine what he thinks is best. I may not agree with it, but he's the HC, not me.

Geaux 22--a very good post! You make a lot of sense. It is a team game, and I have never been a huge fan of JJ, but must give him credit for his contributions in the 'Bama win. That was a team victory, with great defense, clutch plays, and superior kicking & special teams play, deciding it in the Tigers favor at a tough place to win. But Lee deserves huge credit as well--he did the job, overcoming the 2008 demons, and played well enough, contributing greatly to the team's unbeaten record & great start.

You discredit JJ as much as possible and then make excuses for Lee. Way to show your bias.

Rueben was averaging 5 to 6 catches a game before Jefferson started. Now he averages 2 per game.
Getting first downs and blowing teams out are awful!!

Yeah, not sucking his dick and pointing out his flaws and poor performances at times = discrediting him. You and your ilk have said nothing to "discredit" Lee then prior to the Bama game right?
JJ has been decent this year. He's improved very much from last season. I am sorry that I am not going to look at games against WKU and Ole Miss and over-exaggerate his "great" play by overlooking the quality of the opponent.
Both QBs have their strengths and weaknesses. Both have played well this season. Lee had 1 bad game. He has 3 INTs on the season. LSU's given up 3 points on direct Lee mistakes this season in 11 games (INT versus Bama). LSU has given up 2 points on direct mistakes by JJ in 7 games by JJ (safety in the WKU game). To clarify, I don't count the fumble in the Oregon game on Lee. It was on Lonergan.
Both have thrown the ball well. Both have moved the offense well, and LSU's coaches will have to decide which gives them the best chance to win against each opponent. Mobility by the QB killed Arky in the Vandy game, so I likely see Les and Co. starting JJ for the Arky Game.

Lol, my god we just cant help ourselves can we. This past 4 years will be forever known as the JJ vs JL era.
The best thing that could happen is if both JJ and JL came on the rant and finally just SQUASHED the whole thing.
People are treating this thing like an old East Coast/West Coast battle with JJ as 2pac and JL as Bigge.

There are more irrational JJ fanboys than JL fanboys. It's pretty absurd when these same guys were defending his play during that awful stretch he had to start the first 8 or 9 games of the season.
Neither of the two is a world-beater. Neither is horrible like some like to believe. But being delusional and claiming JJ has been awesome this year is a bit much. Saying Lee has been awesome is a bit much too. Both have played well for the most part and limited their mistakes. Both offer us an opportunity to win if they play smart.
