1) Both are black guys
2) Both play/have played QB for LSU
3) Both can run faster than me (see #1)

Herb could run like the wind and jj sucks wind and eats dirt

You suck period.

Nostalgia has a selective memory. Tyler didn't equal JJ's stats utnil he was a Sr.
Jefferon even had more yds rushing except for Tyler's Jr year.

Herb Tyler was not better than Marcus Randall throwing the ball. Ryan
Perriloux would not even have won ten games with that defense in 08, much less Tyler as a freshman. We win six games last year with that running game and O line, and a soph version of Tyler at QB

Wrong(Though no mention made of Randdall FWIW)
Wrong(No mention made of Tyler as freshman BTW)
Wrong(Tyler would have enhanced the running game and taken far fewer sacks than JJ. With the receivers on hand Tyler would have passed for as many yards as JJ).
BTW Tyler went 10-2 as a sophomore.

Herb's sr year was vastly underrated.

THIS !!!

Herb was a great QB in his own right. One of my favorite all-tiem Tigers.

He moved the chains and had a good winning percentage and enabled the other playmakers to make plays.

Jason Campbell is a much better comparison to JJ. People just bc he is black doesn't mean he is a dual threat QB. JJ is a pro-style QB plain and simple.
