Because the question was who has Jimbo lost to that Miles beat.
Never was it in the same season.
So OK they've played two teams in the same season when both were head coaches. Clemson and UF.
How can you even begin to use two freaking games to compare coaches?

No, but that FSU team didn't play LSU, or bama, or UGA.
Come on man, Les beat 5 national title winning coaches on his way to a title. Jimbo beat zero.
The level of competition isn't remotely similar.
I'm all for Jimbo, but LSU isn't going to just start winning titles like bama.
I just think we are pushing one guy out for another with similar results, not better.

Yea recruiting rankings are great. We have so much talent we started DJ welter at MLB last season.

That's my answer to the OP. If I don't use real games then how will you determine who is better. Someone threw out FL and Ga Tech. Never has Jimbo loss to these teams the year Miles has beat them. Facts are facts.

That wasn't the question.
It was, who has Jimbo lost to that Les beat.
Ga tech is a factual answer to that question.

Bottom line Les is a class act, and not everything is measured on what the fans think. The players that have come through his program all like Les, and are better man for having had him. Jimbo has more drama than a soap opera, LSU will suffer for a long time if this is what happens. This board will be full of I sure miss Les, even in a bad year Les is better than most.

That was my point. Posters blast Miles for losing to bama every year and blast him again for not beating ole miss because we are more talented and the talent gap between bama and lsu is bigger than the gap between lsu and Ole miss.
I think it's time for a change but don't act like Jimbo hasn't lost to teams that are far less talented than FSU.

Again know your facts. This was a game played in 2008 in which Jimbo was not the head coach.

If you really want to be technical you need to realize that the same school doesn't mean the same team. Every year a team is different than they were the year before. So you actually answered incorrectly

you raised a good point these kids who play for Les love Les Miles and signed to come here because him wholly or in part because of him. If it turns out Jimbo did push Les out there will be some pretty significant hard feelings towards Fisher by these players because of their relationship with Fisher.

Not since yr 2 maybe year 3 at FSU. FYI those weren't even his players. Since then he's lost to GATech this year on a fluke play that's about it.

After they beat Bama, they will be just fine. Also, Malik Henry or Felipe Franks would come with him.

How many explayers have you spoken to about this, and why does it matter anyway? Why are you wrapped up in whether the coach is a nice guy or not? You aren't having a beer with him either way. No one ever accused Saban of being nice and players seem ok with that.
