Not only was he born and raised in Wisconsin, he played college ball there. I wouldn’t hold your breath on getting that guy.

Would be an upgrade honestly. And that's not knocking Aranda at all but Leonard will be a special DC very soon if he's not already

Why is he an upgrade? Aranda was doing even better at Wisconsin.

Jim Leonard isnt leaving Wisconson. He actually makes around $1 million there, made $18 million over a 10 year NFL career and was born, raised and played at Wisconsin.

I'm not saying Leonard isn't good, but I think we need a DC that has had success against modern offenses. I don't think Leonard has faced this.

We need someone like Venables. Obviously he's not available, but he's shown he can defend modern offenses.
