He was 71 years old when he retired. Pretty good run. Thing I didn't like toward the end is he would bitch about Miles (rightfully so) all game and then play buddy-buddy with Miles during the Wednesday show. Not much else he could do. I work about 10 miles from where he's from and he is a legend around here....

The damn Mexican broadcast is a hell of alot more passionate and intense than Chris Blairs calls were. They get into it big-time lol. If only they could speak English, I would prefer to listen to their call over blairs.




Blair didn't do baseball this weekend and I didn't miss him one bit. It was nice knowing what happened WHEN it happened, as opposed to 3 seconds later after you already have heard the crowd react
