49ers made out pretty good with this trade considering that Robinson was just benched in a week 8 and has struggled since he came into the league.

I wouldn't say he's struggled. This year he has dealt with penalty problems but he was very good for a rookie last year. He's very young and has a lot of potential.

I've seen Robinson rated pretty highly on the usual PFF lists so not sure I buy that.
He was probably one of our most physically gifted CBs ever besides Peterson. His only weakness was needing to bulk up But even that didn't stop him from shutting Mike Evans down.
