So he paid a 500 bond which is usually 10% of his bail amount correct? So his bail would be set at 5000 for the incident? Or was the 500 his bail?

I took it as a $500 bond. DA said if he were found guilty it would have an affect on his probation though. Probably the actual crime is less of an issue than violating his probation.
