I feel like that was understood to everyone. Pretty sweet probation if you don't have to refrain from criminal conduct

He was convicted with a misdemeanor for that?

Your ody?????? What's that????????
Just asking you to clarify

If he was convicted of a felony, he's on probation. Unless he told the judge he'd rather just serve the time of the sentence.

Well he has questionable character to beging with, and everyone knew it.

Hes not on probation for rape, charge was reduced
I realize that, hence my quoting "rape" jokingly. He was, however, serving probation for the pleaded down carnal knowledge of a juvenile. That carried with it a suspended sentence and probation. Since he just violated his probation the judge can institute the suspended sentence if he/she chooses to, and that's not even considering any legal punishment for the battery. Let's hope the Judge is an LSU fan.

misdemeanor is what he pled down to, I thought it had actually been thrown out
grapevine was that the girl retracted her story, and that's why it was reduced

For all the guys calling Hill a POS thug, just understand that if bar fights are the standard for determining "thuggery" then there wouldn't have been enough guys to field a complete "non-thug" Tiger team in the 70's.....true story.

I hope that:
a. Jeremy Hill learns from this
b. He's not on probation
c. If he is, the judge is lenient on him
Let's cut out all the bullshite. We need him starting in the fall.

Not good for Mr. Hill if so.
ETA: Then again, that info doesn't jive with the simple battery charge. We shall see.

The DA said he would be in violation of his probation if convicted of this crime no matter how serious it is. He'll sit a game or two if he is convicted.
