No because if a guy wants to keep his job at a newspaper he won't make up stories about a college football player. Oh, and since RJF has relased and apology I think it confirms that he in fact spoke to Fowler.

RJF has released an apology/clarification...therefore it confirms that these comments were in fact uttered but printed out of context for the sake of drawing attention to my paper and my blog.

Edited again since paid journalist can't get it write(misspelled and pun intended)

I agree with this. Shock factor works for getting people to read your crappy blog.

GIVE ME A BREAK TJ !!!
COME ON!

You seem like a good guy, but give it a rest.
Just because you perceive similarities with the RJF article due to your similar professions?
Are you kidding?

So do you also make up quotes based on duplicitous interpretations of a 19-20 y/o athlete's quotes like Fowler did?

On the other hand, your statement "If a guy wants to keep his job at a newspaper he won't make up stories about a college football player," is utter BS. That premise has not worked all that well in Guilbeau's case has it?

Call a spade a spade brother.
