The only way an interception on 4th down is worse than a sack/getting tackled while scrambling for a first is when the pick is returned for a touchdown. Those arguing that JJ was right to get tackled behind the first down marker instead of throwing to a receiver to try for the first are dead wrong.

We weren't moving the ball AT ALL that game and a chance needed to be taken.

Again, you mentioned Jefferson's age earlier. Why is age a non-factor for Lee in '08? Why do some posters, who would say Jefferson was still young last year, bash Lee and not acknowledge his age?

I agree that the OL was better in '08 (this isn't a question), but the quarterback also influences their performance. To say JJ had a negligible role in the offense last year would be dumb, so hopefully you aren't saying that.

want to go ahead and say i may be in the minority but im tired of overanalyzing everything both QBs do. I have full confidence in each QB whoever is in the game. Lee has always looked good talent wise he just couldnt read defenses but i think he has improved. I also believe that Jefferson will improve from last year and take more chances. In the end i think we'll be fine with either guy because both have talent and they have got a handle on the mental aspect now.
