Generally speaking, a sack is not as bad as a turnover. 4th down sacks rarely ever happen in football. So you didn't prove anybody wrong.

I would rather that 4th down pass get picked than take the sack. At least the ball would be further away from the end zone.

i'd rather take the chance of an interception and looking downfield throwing the ball then to get sacked and punt or turn the ball over on downs .

I agree with this as well, assuming that the interception is not returned further down the field than the point where the sack would have placed the ball. I mean, what if its a pick 6. Now you would have preferred the sack. Why is this hard to understand?
