Agree also. And I think his response was a by product of what the coaches are trying to promote. No uncertainty. No questions. No grey area about the QB situation. It sounds like he was just squashing the notion of being any semblance of a QB issue at LSU.
But lets just bash JJ anyway.

Our leading tackler outside of shep wasnt even a starter. Plus we had 15 people not participate. Some of thise one would consider# 1 on depth chart. But yet these guys all get the same pt. We rotate 4 guys at dt. 4-5 at end 4 at safety. 4-5 at lb. What fricking team do you watch?

100% without a doubt I believe he could, but only 1-2 on here actually thought he would be given the chance to do so. JJ is the starter because he's been here for 3 years. Don't believe me? Ask JJ, it's in my signature. That being said, it's over and everyone needs to just get behind JJ. Mett could complete every pass in practice from here until 9/3. It wouldn't change the fact that JJ will be the starter.

I read it that he believes he is the starter hands down all season! I mean he was horrible last year and started every game and said his overall play was fine. Why should he think no matter how he plays he wouldnt start? Not a great attitude for a qb who has been subpar for his career!

Rudy facts are facts. Alfred blue recorded more starts than spencer ware. Oh whats that? Ridley didnt start every game? No he didnt.

The same 22 players dont start everygame. This is LSU. We have to have backups just as good as what you consider a starter. Depth in the sec is what sets us apart from every other conference. Is loston a# 2? Reid? Matthieu? Taylor who started most of last year may find himself as a# 2. Do you even know who is starting at dt? At lb? Cus i dont. Do you think montgomery and adams are goibg to play every down? Do you consider mingo not important to the success of our d?

LSU's #1 defensive player last year technically wasn't a starter in Mathieu.

We do start more than 11 players. Taylor got hurt. Someone started in his place. Blackwell got hurt some started in his place the rest of the season. How hard is that to understand?

So you think all our backups are equal to our starters? So when they scrimmage it is no advantage for the players who are considered #1 DL to be going against the #2 OL? No advantage for a qb to be throwing to the #1 WR's versus the #2 Db's over the #1 Db's versus the #2 Wr's?
