Brennan had practice against much better defense.

Lasted 3 games. Brennan may be the GOAT of all GOATS but I’m not convinced he’ll stay healthy. I’m convinced he’ll get maimed in a tragic gardening accident before he throws 11 more TD’s.

He should start, and I’m sure he will, but we’re gonna need a backup that doesn’t have to learn on the fly.

Brennan has been injured nearly every season he has been here and they haven’t been nagging ankle or hamstring issues. He had the bad back one season, the unheard of abdominal injury and the broken arm fishing. There are probably some other injuries that weren’t reported as well.
I hope that he can have a healthy season, but the odds are he may get injured at some point and having an experienced back up is solid risk management.

His running ability will pull the safeties in and our WR’s will be 1 on 1. Looks like he can get it to them deep too

Riiiiiiight. And what did that get him last year? 10 ints and 10 tds.

This move sucks

You'd take 3 games started against Mizzou, Vandy, Moo State and 3 years riding the bench over someone who started as a true freshman AND 29 games?

Watched quite a bit of him on YouTube the last couple days. My impression is he’s really, really
Good. Besides his size, he seems like everything you’d want in a modern day quarterback. Excellent runner, protects himself well, throws very well on the run, keeps his eyes downfield as the pocket collapses, can drive the ball downfield, works through his progressions quickly, quick quick release.

Biggest concern is he could sail it at times. He also was inconsistent on screens in that some
Times he’s use touch & sometimes he’d rocket it in there. Their running game was strong which I think led to the TD discrepancy. His completion percentage was still decent in a offense that seemed to me to drive the ball down the field quite a bit. Their running back was an absolute stud who I was surprised to see wasn’t higher on draft boards. WR’s last year looked relatively unimpressive, he should see quite an upgrade here.

Overall he looked to me to be on another level than what I’ve seen from Brennan & Nuss. Will be an interesting spring for sure.

You just explained all the reason he sucks.....hes not good. You list several reasons why a qb, with a strong running game, can't get it done.

You should look again at ASU stats, their yardage was 50:50 run/pass. That was not a pass happy team. I’m happy to see what our staff can do with both Brennan and Daniels.

Because they didn't trust the qb they had. My God you people are ignorant. Hes NOT a good qb. Period.
When a qb can play, the OC calls it towards him

Brennan was tackled by a fishing dock and missed a season.

Last year wasn’t his best tape. I am also a degenerate I had them often as well. He has elite arm talent and in the right situation will be amazing! Go back and look at his earlier stuff!

Agree. He's really talented, just applies it sparingly. I've watched him a lot, he's the king of missed opportunities.

Hopefully he's depth.

It’s not like he was guaranteed the starting role.

He has been up and down but nobody can say whether he is definitely really good or really bad at this point He has had a really good season and a not very good season. Whether it was really him regressing or ASU falling apart remains to be seen. Talent is not in question. It doesn’t hurt to at least give him a look since we don’t exactly have a sure bet ahead of him

Myles is our starter. Jayden is going to be his backup if Myles gets hurt. It was easy to see that Nussmeir is not ready to be the starter if Myles goes down. Nuss has talent but is too raw for good SEC defenses.

Doesn’t sound like that’s the case here
