I'm going to give JD5 the benefit of the doubt and believe this was all his mother. He never came across as ego driven, entitled, spoiled, or petty. Now his mother 100% gave those vibes....if its his mother then a phone call should resolve this situation. This whole situation is so stupid.

That's a reasonable compromise, but it doesn't seem that Daniels is being reasonable. I think promising jersey #s is dumb in general and it's immature for players to ask for them.
