I don't think this game should have been a factor. JD is the best college football player and it is not even close and Heisman should be given to the best college football player.

I don’t think the extra game should have been a deciding factor either, that one guy having a “great” game would seal it for them. I think it cheapens the season and also means neither were Heisman worthy if you need another game to make your decision. I liken it to HOF voting for baseball. You either are or you aren’t HOF material. Did you become a better player from year 1 of eligibility to year 4 when you finally got in?
