Correct. People absolutely melted down after the A&M series and some of those same people are now saying one series shouldn't raise expectations.

Its pure hypocrisy.

This team may not be championship material, but those frickers melting down last week deserve ridicule.

They aren't. This thread is very clearly laughing at the morons that shite on this team the last two weeks. No one is seriously saying we're winning the championship based on these last two games.

You can't do that, because they are the sole reason this thread exists.

one sample size was 11 times bigger than the other.

it wasnt just after the aggy series. It had been going on for the majority of the season to that point.

Wrong.

LSU has lost how many games total? You bitches picked one series to melt down about, now are tempering expectations after one?

Nah, that's pure hypocrisy.

See that title sounds like its for everyone....

Including people that may have been showing concern, but also not jumping of the bridge at the same time. OP is painting with a broad brush.

False. Ive defended those that have shown any concern with how the team was playing up until Saturday. Ive stated from the beginning that anyone spouting that dumbshit is a moron. Anyone that knows baseball will tell you, the play up until saturday has been less than stellar for the most part and the concerns from MOST here, was warranted.

Now if this is directed at ONLY those clowns, I digress. But you cant start a thread towards "tRant" then say it was only for those few that said this specific thing

False

this thread specifically has called out people who melted down after the A&M series.

And you have defended it throughout this thread.

7. Are you under the impression that you can only play bad in games you lose? That just because you win a game, you dont have to be held accountable for any mistakes that were made?

I didnt melt at all. Some here did, BAD! Just like some are here now booking rooms in Omaha after this weekend. Did I have concerns after last weekend and voice them? Yep. Do I have less concerns this weekend? Yep. Still gotta let it play out. I like to stay right in the middle where I can have a good look at both sides.

Neither side should be considered mutually exclusive. Its ok to see faults and have concerns, while at the same time seeing obvious improvement and being cautiously optimistic

Its literally in the title. There is nothing specific about that.

Please link me to where I defended anyone that said any of the dumbshit yall are talking about. The specific ones mentioned were "this job is too big for him" and "he needs to be fired". Please show me where I defended those clowns.

Ill wait.

Now, if thats who yall are going after, fine. But maybe OP should be a little more specific. Because the majority here were legit just voicing warranted concerns. Thats who Ive been defending.

Weird, you temper optimism but the negativity flows like the Mississippi River.

What negativity? Look at UFs BA. .274 OPS .881 - they beat a crappy Bama team with a 6.33 ERA. Stats are where they are. They are neither good or bad.

It is a about 70 game season if you want to use a small sample size, let’s do that…

What is the teams ERA and Fielding Average? If we use that 1/3 of the season, we can. Generally speaking to win a championship, you need to pitch and field well.
There were 2 games of that, for the most part.
Yesterday, Berry had 2 opportunities that he should have made plays.
Morgan in the ninth, nearly missed a ball that his new second baseman should have taken charge on. Call that a learning opportunity and chemistry issue for Thompson. You can’t hide the fact that Thompson missed a pop up Friday night that cost the team a run. He has a number of mental errors as well as actual ones.

I am a huge Johnson fan and supporter. I don’t care about a couple games other than the team flat out hit the ball well.

Fastball pitchers don’t have a prayer against this team.

They struggle with pitchers that can command a mix of pitches. Crews has a hole inside and down as does Gio. Can’t miss that if you watch both players.

If I’m pitching against this team, everything is inside at the hands and lower and force them to hit it with the exception of Morgan and Berry.

This is a message board and if it is a 70 game season, which would be awesome because they would likely be in the finals.
My optimism is cautious as I mentioned. It doesn’t mean I didn’t love watching the games this weekend even the one on Friday.

Link. Show me bitch.
BTW - A comment about bad play isn’t melting dumbass. It is clear you’ve never played, coached or umpired. Y’all blame the fricking Umps for everything.

Stupid people on here “can’t understand” why LSU has so many HBP. One day you and people like you will figure it out. fricking idiots.

Anyone with eyes can see that this team has serious issues in regards to errors and an iffy pitching staff.

The team needed fixing for sure... maybe some of the changes this weekend were a step in the right direction.
