Some of y'all need to lay off of mays. He's a solid player with a nice shot. He can get to the rim he just has a hard time finishing lately. The kid does everything in right has a 4.0 GPA. if we bring in a bunch of five stars he won't be the most talented player on the team. But he certainly will be a vital member of the team and a huge contributor next year

Mays does a great job of penetrating or getting out on the breaks, but gosh the dude needs to learn to finish and get the and-ones! Good scorers have a knack for that. I think it is teachable in practice. I used to do that in high school ball and I finally got a coach that focused on the finish, not just the drive to the hoop. It was tough for me as a small point guard, but Mays has the size to do it regularly. Hope he can find it! Enjoying watching the Tigers much more this year.
