What? The dude got drafted last year and for some reason came back and pitched about 10 innings. He had to go somewhere he could get on the mound.

He pitched 26 innings which is more than Hellmers, Guidry, Ulloa, Moffett, and Loer.

I'm not surprised he's leaving, but it isn't like he wasn't given a chance. His batting average against was .213, but he walked 21 batters

I liked Coleman, but you have to look at his stats for SEC games compared to all games.

All games

26 innings
20 hits (10 singles, 6 doubles and 4 HR)
21 walks + 2 hit batters
28 strikeouts
.213 batting average allowed
1.65 WHIP (including hit batters)
5.19 ERA

SEC

6.1 innings
10 hits (3 singles, 4 doubles and 3 HR)
3 walks
6 strikeouts
.357 batting average allowed
2.05 WHIP
9.95 ERA

He controlled the walks much better in SEC work, but instead of drawing walks, the better SEC hitters hit him hard when he did throw strikes.

Come exit interview time, there will be many bitter former players leaving CJJ’s office it seems, including some that have no inkling that their world is about to change.

CJJ will likely suggest/entice some draft eligible sophomores to take the draft money and the pitching staff will be more than half turned over, including some high projection guys ex Moffitt(sp), Coleman, possibly Guidry even transferring out.

I know I know I’m a dumbass/idiot/retard whatever; how can that not happen

They will all be replaced with better pitchers

I felt like he was a dude that couldn't keep his emotions in check. Anytime a guy got on base you knew he was falling behind 2-0 next batter.

Could be technical issues pitching from the stretch, rather than emotional problems.

If you really looked hard at the pitchers that are transferring then you wouldn’t be that concerned.

Cam is the only pitcher so far that even remotely stings. The rest can easily be replaced with better.
