Not suprised. Dude was an absolute MONSTER on special teams. Those hits against Auburn on kick off coverage were amazing.

Jarvis Landry AFC Special Team Plauer of the Month
Former LSU Tiger and Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October, joining Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Broncos linebacker Von Miller as the conference's players of the month.
Landry has seen increased playing time as the season has progressed, but kickoffs are still his specialty. He averaged 35.6 yards per return this month, including a 54-yard return against Green Bay October 12.
The Dolphins scored on three of the five possessions Landry had returned, and he also recorded 32 yards on punt returns. Landry leads the NFL with a 31.3 yards-per-kickoff-return average, which is on pace to set a single-season franchise record. It comes as a bit of a surprise considering he didn't return a kickoff for LSU in 2013.
This is the first time a Dolphins rookie has won an AFC player of the month award since kicker Dan Carpenter won in 2008.

Well done. It's amazing guys like Landry and Randle returned kicks in the NFL but not at LSU. Guys like Blue, Wright get carried and balls in NFL but not at LSU.
